I can hear the uproar….But it is true I say..Lets look at this for a minute. Yes all it takes is a minute to decide if you want to think positively about a situation or negatively at one. Is your brain hardwired to think negatively, NO. So you have a choice and it is knowing you have a choice that is the most important fact I hope to hammer into to you today. I have to hammer it in to myself as well. So in battling the worm woods in your mind you have to think of the cactus. Yes, the cactus full of thorns. You can either focus on the thorns or focus on the beautiful flowers the cactus provides. I tend to favor the flowers and to fill my life with as many flowers as possible. So here is a practical lesson. Every morning before you get out of bed tell yourself about all of the things you appreciate-anything and everything that you can think of that is good, true or beautiful. You are only allowed to think of the positive thoughts for the first few minutes upon waking. Then as the negatives try to gain some momentum think of a good aspect about them. Okay… for instance; Crap…. I am running late….or… Okay I am running a bit behind but I will get there in plenty of time there is no need to worry. All is well with my world and it will continue to be so. Now let me tell you why I changed the thought around. If I were to focus on running late and all that entailed I would surely have a sore day. I would be nervous, I would be cranky, I would be short-tempered, and that would color my day-my whole day. Because, how you start your day seems to be the way the day is colored. Now by changing my point of reference and focusing on the fact that my day will run smoothly regardless if I am a few minutes late, and that I can make it up at the tail end of my day, I can bring to my life feeling of peace and comfort- instead of fear and dread. If I know my life is running exactly as it should be for the day then of course that is what I will bring in to my life.
SO a Positive mind does equal a positive life. Try it and see.

practice:
start your day with a few moments of positive grateful thoughts
change the negative to a positive as often as possible
remember your life is always right where it should be at this moment.
