Check out the finished product as built by members of the BBS community. We offer workshops in San Francisco, Toronto, Greensboro, Alabama and Camden, Maine.

Build a bamboo bike at home, school, or with your local bike shop. Our kits contain the materials necessary to build one bamboo bike frame.

We are a founding member of the Society for Useful Arts, a collective of craftsmen, tinkerers, and engineers dedicated to creating practical tools for the modern world.

The Bamboo Bike Studio provides people with the knowledge and tools to make their own bikes. We believe that the best bike is the bike you build yourself.

Our customers can take part in a bike-making workshop, or buy a bike-making kit. We collaborate with DIYers, partner with schools, and help set up bike-making factories overseas. Our goal is to offer the lowest cost and highest value bicycle, customized to suit our builders’ diverse needs.

Can you substitute something? Can you substitute an idea, things, places, people, pieces, emotions or new ways of thinking.  Replace one thing over another until you find a new idea by trail and error.

Think about Richard Branson, he has substituted nearly every idea, he has challenged ideas, and ways to do things.

SO now it is your turn to substitute something – any thing even if it is just a limiting thought. Just substitute..try out some new way of looking at something. Try it today…I would love to hear what you come up with…

Dreams for the future…

an another...have fun dreaming

another page in my dream journal

I find myself painting again as that always seems to call to me during times of change, and I also got a post from Claudia asking me about dream books.  So here goes. Just buy yourself a black and white composition book form the drugstore or grocery store they are around 2.99.  Cover the cover with pictures, drawings, painting marks, and magazine articles , cover the back as well. IF they are dream goals write the year on the spine or front cover and incorporate  it in your cover.  Now you are ready to begin.  I like to date and list my dreams on the front page,as dreams change and this also gives me a table of contents as such.

Now on each spread draw, paint, or collage a dreams or gaol at a time.  Paint every emotion about it, draw how you would feel if the dream materialized, make it your dream secret spot. Add in pictures, writing, doodles anything that evokes the feeling of the dream being realized. Have fun. This is your secret stash of dreams to come true so give it all you got…Have fun and let me know as your dreams come true, because if you can see will become

a page in one of my dream journals

real…Have fun.
